Emblation was founded in 2007 with two purposes in mind: to create a more stable, reliable and compact microwave system and to develop a treatment that could be used in Podiatry and Dermatology that would overcome the weaknesses in traditional treatments for skin lesions.

The Power of Microwave Technology
Emblation Limited is an expert in the design and development of microwave technology, which has been used in medicine for over 30 years. Primarily used in the treatment of cancers of the liver, lung, kidney and breast, microwave ablation (a NICE approved treatment) works by creating localised heat and is a minimally invasive surgical technique used all over the world.
